My fashion month countdown has officially begun! This means I am just five weeks away from jetting off to Europe again. Every time I travel to Europe I feel at home from the moment my feet touch the ground. It’s the place where I found myself and truly learned to be bold. I’ve had so many incredible adventures and have now been to over 12 different countries in one of the best continents of the world. Can you believe that? I didn’t even realize I had been to that many places until I counted before writing this post!

Many of you must be thinking “how can she possibly afford to travel that much?” well truthfully, I had a few trips where I was just scraping by. One of my favorite European adventures was the time I decided to travel alone while in University and I found the cheapest flight I could and booked it through Transat. That’s right, that was probably four or five years ago, and even back then Transat was still offering some of the best deals in the travel industry. So, my advice to you is fill 2017 up with rich experiences like travelling to Europe – scouts honour – you won’t regret it!

Some advice… I know when I travel to Europe, I want to make the most out of every minute so I try and avoid spending time in airports. And Air Transat makes that easy for me to do because of their flight offerings. For example, there are direct flights from Canada to countries like Dublin, Brussels, Athens and Lisbon – all of which aren’t usually offered by other airlines. Air Transat also offers multi-destination flights – which are AMAZING. The concept – fly into one country and leave from another for at no additional cost. So, if you want to see the Coliseum in Rome but also want to check out some historic museums in Zagreb, you totally can.

I’d also recommend checking out Transat’s new series of accommodation discounts called Savvy Choice. They are designed to give you the ultimate vacation with a big cost savings on your accommodations. How it works: pick the hotel star rating of your choice (three or four stars), and Transat will find you the hotels that are available with that rating AND at a lower price than that of confirmed hotel. I personally like this option because it’s ideal for those travellers who want a deal and have no hotel preference.

Not sure what to do but know what you’d like to branch out and explore some iconic gems in Europe? Look no further as Transat has experience with this and offers 40 diverse guided tours This will help you have a stress-free trip and dive into the destination with savvy and passionate tour guides. You’ll be able to enjoy some must-see sites and learn about the culture of some of the most iconic places in the world. You could even head to Europe by boat on one of their new cruise vacations. If it’s your first time heading to Europe this is a great option because it will allow for you to experience numerous destinations without travelling on multiple planes, getting from one airport to another or checking into multiple hotels. So, whether you’re thinking of heading to Paris to fall in love, Prague for a pint of Czech pilsner or to roam La Rambla in Barcelona, Transat has got you covered.
