Happy Monday everyone! This past weekend was soooo nice for me, I took a step away from the social media world (for about a minute) and enjoyed some quality one on one time with the man. It was nice for us to get away from work and just spend time doing little things. We never really manage to find as much time to enjoy one another’s company as much as we used to. This is a classic problem once you move in with one another and after you have been together for a while I think. Something I have learned is how important it is just to take one day a week, and spend it together and get out of our routine.
This weekend (much to my disdain) we tried Pitch & Putt. For those of you who are wondering what that is, it’s basically 18 holes of golf on a much smaller scale, but just as frustrating. I happen to hate golf, but he had been asking me to go for so long and I know how much he loves it so I decided to give in. Here’s the kicker … I actually ended up liking it. I used to think that the only way I would ever be able to enjoy golf was if it was spent with a bunch of friends and I was given permission to drive the golf cart around. Turns out, it’s actually not that bad. Mind you, I’ve really only had a taste for it and might think differently if I was forced to walk 500 yards instead of 60.
Before heading offline for the weekend, I met up with the lovely Randa for a quick shoot. She really has a knack for taking photos and her shots always end up being some of my best. Plus, the man gets a break from photo duty!
For this look, I went white on white, paired with white. Why not? It’s the perfect time of year and I’ll probably only be able to wear this outfit a few times before I end up inevitably dropping something on myself (probably coffee). These GAP jeans are my FAVORITE pair of white denim. They are so comfortable, like all GAP jeans and the rips are perfect for spring. My top is from Dynamite’s Spring collection and it’s gold detailing makes it perfect for my personal style. The sunnies (everyone on IG loved them) are Dior look-a-likes. I’ve tagged some similar ones below for you that wont break the bank, along with the rest of the outfit details.
