Spring is finally close! Here in Vancouver we can already feel it. The cherry blossoms are out, the sun is shining and the days are getting longer again! We’ve also been blessed with some amazing weather for the past two weeks.
My favorite part about spring is being able to dress for it. I am a comfort queen and am in love with the loose and light fabrics that can be worn this season. The fall and winter really encroach on my casual and relaxed spring style. Nylons are the WORST and I’m glad I can finally put those behind me again. However, I have to admit the chic and structured looks of fall really make up for the lack of free-flowing fabrics of the spring…they just might not be as comfortable for me!
Take for example, the two looks I am wearing below. Both of these fab styles are perfect for spring and you can easily transition between work and fun without having to change outfits! I am dressed head-to-toe in Sears for both of these looks and I couldn’t be happier with the style and with the affordability of all four items. Sears provides the perfect mix of fashion and versatility and I am excited to share a sneak peek of this collection with you.
My favorite trend this spring is polka-dots!! This shirt is on point for the upcoming season and its neutral shade makes it easy to pair it with just about anything. If you feel like dressing a shirt like this up, just wear it with some white pants and some nude pumps for a simple, put-together look.
Another big trend this season is the draped tank-top. (Or draped anything, really!) I love this shirt in white for the same reason as above, its versatility! Pair it with a chic pair of printed pants and you are ready for work or for cocktails.
