If you watched my Instagram stories last week than you’d know I was invited into Shaw studios here in Vancouver to try out the new BlueSkyTV system. Shaw BlueSkyTV is basically Western Canada’s version of Comcast. In fact that’s exactly what it is. Shaw partnered with Comcast to bring the experience here to Canada and I get to be one of the first people to experience it.
Naturally, I figured the Superbowl was the best way to experience it! BlueSkyTV gives you the option to watch real-time scores and player stats while you are watching your favorite shows, all via voice command. You don’t even have to be watching the Superbowl to stay on top of the game and you’t have to flip through the options to find it. You can just say “scores” or “sports” and it will pop up while you’re watching.
Say you wanted to flip through the guide, you can do that and watch the game at the same time too. I won’t lie, being able to watch one of the greatest football games in history with the BlueSkyTV was quite an experience. I’ve only had it for a few days and I think it’s safe to say I’m hooked. It’s really hard to think of going back to regular cable after this. Especially with the upcoming integrations of Netflix!
I hope you all enjoyed watching Brady make history! If you’re curious about how to get Shaw BlueSkyTV, you can get setup with new account for $99 a year which includes Shaw 150 internet which is basically the fastest you can get.
