Reflecting Sunsets in Tommy Hilfiger

I’ve been reflecting a lot on my life and the paths I have chosen since I have returned home from my travels. I have a great full time job, and a great career ahead of me as a Blogger as well. Both of these are areas that I have worked incredibly hard in order to succeed and I’m very grateful for the opportunities I have been given in both worlds. I’m also so thankful that my job is supportive of my blogging as well. Most major corporations may not be as flexible so I am thankful that I ended up in one that is. However, now I feel like I am reaching the point where I may need to make a decision about what I want to do with the rest of my life. It’s hard to decide, I have been balancing both for so long, who is to say I can’t do that for a few more years? I’m in a tough place mentally because I have responsibilities and can’t just up and leave, there’s no one to support me but me. As a result, I’m going to be sitting down with myself this weekend to make a 5 year plan for myself. I usually make a plan like this every 2 years because it usually changes as I grow. I would LOVE some advice from my Blogger friends out there. How did you do it? What were your challenges? Do you miss your 9 to 5? I’d love to hear your thoughts in the comment section below.

On a lighter note, I have some happy news for you all! Tommy Hilfiger is having a sale! Woohoo! You can get an additional 50% off any sale items using the code JULY50 at the check out. I’ve linked all of the items featured in this post for you below. Unfortunately the dress I’m wearing is now sold out, but I have linked a similar one for you which happens to be an item you can use the code on. You’re welcome ๐Ÿ˜‰

  • Always love a simple striped dress!

  • In addition to blogging, I have a few other side hustles. I was actually able to secure a pretty solid part time job working from home that allows me to balance my other endeavors. It’s really nice to have more time but also still have a steady paycheck! If you can find something like that, it’s an awesome way to transition into being your own boss.

I’m loving the big badass images; great photography & your writing is awesome. I don’t know if I would miss my 9 to 5, but I know that I don’t care for the corporate world much but I am also lucky to work for an awesome company that is pretty loose and lets me kind of do my own thing! xx

  • You look gorgeous, I love the dress so much! I feel fortunate to blog with my sister, so we can split tasks up… I’m not sure I could manage it all alongside my full-time day job! XO
