For those of you that have been following my blog for a while you will know that I am a “Tone it Up!” addict and am obsessed with these girls, their fitness videos and their Nutrition Plan. I have fallen off my plan a little bit since I have been overdoing it on the working part of my “work-life balance”, but lately I have been getting back into it and these girls are great motivation!
While on my daily browse of workout inspiration I found this great recipe on the the Tone it Up! website and in the spirit of summer and fun, I had to share it. Give it a shot and let me know what you think!
- 1 cup of unsweetened Coconut Milk
- 1 packet of Perfect Fit Coconut Hydration Mix~ you can sub this item for coconut water or powdered coconut which you can buy at most natural food stores.
- 1 cup of frozen pineapple
- Dash of cinnamon
- Shredded coconut for garnish
- Pineapple wedges for garnish
Add all ingredients to your blender and blend for 1-3 minutes until smooth and frothy. Garnish with shredded coconut and cinnamon. Add a pineapple wedge to the rim of your glass.
Post-workout: Add a scoop of vanilla Perfect Fit Protein. This is the best way to replenish your muscles and help your body get lean!
Celebrating? After all of the ingredients are blended, add 2 oz of your favorite rum and give it a quick pulse. Pour over ice into 2 glasses and enjoy.
