Most of you may not know this, but my family actually immigrated to Canada from the Czech Republic. When I saw my family, I mean my Grandmother as I was born in Canada. My grandmother was a very important person in my life and it was a goal of mine to take her with me the next time I went to the “motherland” when I found out she was getting sick. Unfortunately, she passed away before we could go together and I will forever hold this dream of ours close to my heart.
Brno is the second largest city in the Czech Republic and is the largest Moravian city. The most visited sights of the city include the Špilberk castle and fortress and the Cathedral of Saints Peter and Paul on Petrov hill. You can see the Cathedral in some of my pictures below.
