Gearing Up for Coachella

Guys, I have some exciting news to share! This weekend I will be heading off to Coachella with Vancouver’s own CF Pacific Centre in search of the best festival styles! I’ll be sporting looks some of their best retailers while on site and I am SOOO excited (and slightly terrified) for the experience!

The truth is, I have never really been to a proper festival before. I went to Chasing Summer in Calgary while in University, but trust me when I say that is the FARTHEST thing from Coachella.

When I say I’m terrified, I mean it. I have no idea what to expect from Coachella! Especially after hearing all of the crazy stories!

I’ll level with you here. I don’t get out that often anymore. It’s a sad reality of working for yourself and travelling for work. My idea of going out is having wine at a media event (woohoo!) and I think the last concert I went to was the Backstreet Boys when they came to Vancouver over a year ago. What I mean is, I’m probably going to have SO much fun that I will have a heart attack caused by sheer excitement and I won’t make it home. THAT is what I am afraid of! To follow along on my adventure, and to make sure I’m still living, follow the @CFPacificcentre Instagram page and mine to see what I’m doing!

Okay, let’s talk about these photos now. I had a bit of fun with these babies. My boyfriend and I shot them in Oosoyoos (Canada’s only natural desert!) and it was incredibly sunny and windy. They didn’t come out very well so I experimented with some editing techniques to try to make them look cool. I wore my favorite Free People dress and Steve Madden Gladiator sandals, both of which can be found at Nordstrom in CF Pacific Centre!
