It’s been a rough couple of weeks and honestly there was even a moment where I contemplated if I could juggle everything. I broke down, cried to my very supportive boyfriend and no matter how many times my friends told me “you’re doing so good” I just didn’t feel it. I was stressed and overwhelmed and begging for something to give.
Then, just like that, it all turned around. I met with my now great friend Christina from Fluent Productions and she gave me a completely new outlook. She told me I needed to hire a few interns to help manage the business and learn to put my trust in other people to help get the job done. Her positive attitude slowly rubbed off and eventually I was on the same page. We sat down , we made a plan and two days later we set everything in motion and since then I have been nothing but smiles!
We spent the afternoon in Vancouver’s own Small Victory Bakery and I even put on my best working glasses from Polette Eyewear for extra measure. Polette Eyewear prides themselves on being one of the most affordable and fashionable eyeglasses brands available to us. Their frames definitely will not break the bank and their hands on optometrists try to work with you directly to try to make sure your eyes are taken care of the way they should be. You can read more about their concept here. Thanks to my new red frames and the lovely Christina, the day was a total success!
