During my time in Montreal last week, I had the opportunity to pop by and see some of my favorite people and shoot this COS look from their upcoming Fall 2016 collection. I loved this collection for its irregular designs and modern minimalism which almost have a traditional asian feel. The COS Fall 2016 collection was inspired by the intense colours found in the backdrop of Lynette Yiadom Boakye’s paintings and consists of deep blues, burgundy, ochre and forest green. All of these shades are going to be a big hit for the upcoming season. I’m especially excited to share this look with you because soon we will have the opportunity to shop the same collection right here in Vancouver with the opening of COS in Gastown this winter!
When I first picked this skirt I was immediately drawn to the colour. It’s a great shade for fall. I actually thought they may be pants due to the way they are cut, but when I put them on I was pleasantly surprised to see that it was actually just a REALLY awesome skirt! I paired it with the a leather sleeveless turtleneck that gave the outfit a feminine touch when tucked in.
Ironically, we managed to find a random building right near the agency with a door that was the perfect shade to flatter the look so we decided to shoot it right then and there.
Big thanks to @Virally for his photography skills. 😉
